i built a theramin out of a box and some radio shack rabbit ears...and you can too! but i lost the guide :( OK, if you're going to build a theremin out of to-hand parts, you really don't want rabbit ears... I haven't experimented much, but I have it on good authority that you want more sensitive an...

Theramins are amazing.... I've only played one once, but it was an amazing experience. Theremins are amazing. Which is why I'm content with my lot in life. I may still have no console gaming systems more recent than the original NES, but remember: the best toys are the ones you build yourself. :D

I didn't read any of it in the first place so my comment wasn't a response to anybody. I just figured most people would be whining about not having a girlfriend/boyfriend, thus hating V-day because of it. Good. That means you're one of the few intelligent people in this world. But, of course, the m...

I didn't read any of it in the first place so my comment wasn't a response to anybody. I just figured most people would be whining about not having a girlfriend/boyfriend, thus hating V-day because of it. In all honesty, I was looking *forward* to the first of (hopefully many) Valentine's Days unno...

Um, on topic (sorry), I don't see anything on the website about the tournament itself. Do any of you locals have info o...

FYI on Westside... They're closing the gameroom to do something different for next season. I don't know what the different is, but it will not involve video games. Therefore, DDR has already sold and PPP and DM are currently for sale (unless they've sold since I heard last week). Ouch. Even better....

<reply tower toppled> You should take a trip up to the Fort. I don't know where a Pop'N is (if there is one in Indiana [never checked]), but there's a DrumMania and Para Para Paradise at Westside in Indy, and then if you come to the Fort, we've got DDR 5th Mix, DDR Extreme, several ITG2 machines, G...

Awww, our IIDX is jank? I wouldn't know. I don't play hard enough stuff to be able to tell. XD But, you know... At least we HAVE a Beatmania machine... n_n The great majority of arcades in Indiana can't boast such a thing. "In Indiana"? Heck, the great majority of arcades in the U.S. can't boast su...

Duly noted. Remind me to bitch at you when it doesn't work. My turning incompetence is VERY resilient. :P

It's my birthday. 17 doesn't feel any different. Happy birthday. n_n Nah, 17 doesn't feel any different. Neither does any age. Save twenty-one. I have a feeling that when you turn twenty-one, everything becomes something of a haze for a while. XD Heh, to be honest, 21 isn't that exciting either. Su...

I was hardly being bitter, that's actually me trying to be reassuring. If I were being bitter, it'd be a hell of a lot worse. Word taken. And long distance relationships are another animal entirely, and even comparing them to day to day relationships in such a way isn't really the point. I was in a...

I was going for a conservative estimate. Though the round numbers also make things nice for working out the elimination rate; it's hard to use partial powers in generating functions.
