Re: DDR Subwoofers
Thanks for the information, I re-checked mine and it appears to have several rips on the front of it, Pretty sure it's blown, I am thinking a buddy of mine who also likes DDR probably cranked it up to max when he was watching my house when I was on Vacation as I noticed both of the volume knobs were...

DDR Subwoofers
Hello Everyone! Would someone happen to know the size of the sub woofers in a Dance Dance Revolution Cabinet (I have been told by one guy they are 10 inch and another they are 12 inch)? I have my extreme cabinet and looking to replace both of them as they are old and not functioning very well, howev...

Re: DDR Arcade Memory Card (Anyone own a machine)
End result turned out to be bad memory card board, lucky for me a guy here locally was selling two machines for scrap for around $1k, both had the memory card slots and the board it connects to, was able to replace the current one and it works great now, however I did at first send the board to Bets...

Yeah that's what I meant >.<, Sorry for the bad wording had a long day.Ho wrote:I think maybe he meant the 573 itself will die before the battery.
The CD-ROM drive almost certainly will.

Re: Machine Question
Yeah, I figured it was a good deal, plus it looks like the guy replaced the RTC on it, so that should give it some extra life (Probably will die before the battery does).

Re: Machine Question
I am the same way, I love to have some spares around, Luckily for me, My 8th mix I bought last year had actually had the RTC chip replaced before it was sold, I guess they added a socket for it, that way the battery wasn't actually soldered on so it could be replaced (Wish this one was like that). T...

Re: Machine Question
Yeah you are correct, it looks like a burned CD which is pretty funny, I guess the bootleggers want things to look as legit as possible.

Re: Machine Question
I don't think Betson ever even distributed Disney's Rave. The legit disc certainly wouldn't say that on it since it would be an import. Also, IIRC it's "Dancing Stage Featuring Disney's Rave". There was a US release titled "Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix" (I think), but it was console only as I ...

Re: Machine Question
Thanks for the information, I was able to swap I/O and everything worked, Then I gave it some though and swapped out the DISK from the Disney Rave with the working DDR 8th machine and it booted. This was very annoying because apparently all I had to do was swap out the disk, as I noticed the Disney ...

Re: Machine Question
MonMotha, as a simple solution, wouldn't he be able to simply swap that entire connector plate from his DDR 573 with the new one he just got? It wouldn't be the most elegant solution, but it wouldn't involve buying anything he doesn't already have and would allow him to at least test the unit he ju...

Re: Machine Question
Any idea what I would need to do to get it to register correctly or what modifications need to be made? The three connectors on the left of the apparent DanceManiaX unit are the same as DDR, Which I actually got those 3 hooked up correctly as the PAD lights come on, however the smaller plug on the t...

Re: Machine Question
Alright, So I figured everything would be good and ordered it (Talked the guy down to $400), so now I am going to reach out to you pro's and get opinions (Chances are I will fight to get a refund unless you guys can help me to get things working). 1.) When I swapped the PCB'S, I noticed the Disney's...

Re: Machine Question
Also, if you already have a PCB for your cabinet and you're running Extreme, it would make more sense to just buy the Disney Rave security cart and the install/play discs since there's no reason to buy a whole other PCB. Assuming you have the Extreme security cart and install/play discs then you ca...

Machine Question
Hello Everyone, Here is my situation, A local arcade has a Disney’s rave machine that is in working order, except several of the pads arrows do not work (bad sensors) and the arcade does not want to fight trying to take the brackets off the arrows as most of the screws are stripped, so they are part...

Re: DDR Arcade Memory Card (Anyone own a machine)
Not yet, I do have an official PS1 card on the way, so I'll be able to test hopefully next week when it arrives.MonMotha wrote:Have you tried testing with an official Sony card? The 3rd party cards were notoriously unreliable in this application.
