Re: DJ MAX Technika

I never got extensive time with Jubeat or Technika, but I was able to get into the most difficult mode of Jubeat (of course not the most difficult songs) literally after my first song without failing out or even doing that bad at all. I also FC'd my very first song ever. Even though it was on easy,...

Re: DJ MAX Technika

I will never understand people who save Re:Rave or jubeat is easier than Technika. In Re:Rave and jubeat, notes can appear anywhere and you have no way to predict where they'll show up, with jubeat you get maybe half a second and Re:Rave longer, but with a more cluttered screen on more complex chart...

Re: DJ MAX Technika

You guys should all talk to D&B Indy to convince them to get Technika 3 and connect it to the internet. I know Casey will. What with DDR dead, Pump disappointing to D&B (they're only putting DDR in new locations apparently), arcades could use an addictive money-printing music game* *prints money in ...

No. It's impossible to keep a Betson X2 maintained without significant mods.

Re: DAVE&BUSTERS

Unfortunately, it seems DDR is the new thing for D&B.

The new D&B that opened in Orlando this summer/fall got a Betson DDRX2 (a.k.a. a piece of shit, hardware-wise).

Re: Potentially good news...Dave & Buster's in Indy

Still Pro 2.

Also I think some of the P1's right sensors are dying. I had trouble holding freezes with those two arrows on both nightmare and cz.

Re: Potentially good news...Dave & Buster's in Indy

So they didn't really upgrade from Pro 2 to Fiesta EX, right? (referring to that Pump Haven troll/idiot locations updater)

Re: Potentially good news...Dave & Buster's in Indy

According to Ziv, there are 10 D&B's with DDR. (http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/arcadelocations.php)

Most of them are awful Betson X cabinets. I would have thought D&B was smarter than buying a bunch of equally awful Betson X2 cabinets...

Re: Potentially good news...Dave & Buster's in Indy

ummmmmmmmmm okay so the machine doesn't freeze 2 songs every other game now. It still does tend to lock up for a second in the first 10 seconds of random songs (Happened about 2 or 3 times over ~2 hours). You guys know how there's this lag spike in Rave Until The Night is Over? right at the 400 comb...

oh god

and I thought the forced hands in PRO 1 were bad enough. (where you couldn't do them with only your feet)

Re: FS: 3" BlueShark w/ bar

Did the bar fit in any of the 3" BlueSharks though? I was under the impression none of the bars fit in any of the pads, and that I got par for the course / what everyone else got. It's been a long time since I've lurked in DDRFreak's controllers forum but I don't remember anyone saying their bar fit...

FS: 3" BlueShark w/ bar

Selling because 1) Basement flooded ~2-3 cm after heavy Indiana rain. 2) I've been in college (out of state) 2 years and should have sold this 2 years ago. 3" BlueShark w/ bar. Bar doesn't actually fit of course. I propped it against a couch with a wooden board behind it. Also have an unopened PS2 c...

Re: Laser Flash - ITG in the works

Bump from hell. What happened to this place? I know Peter Murphy doesn't take as active a role in running it anymore, but jesus. In January the USB's worked at least. Now, I get Card Mount Error and the employees are clueless, didn't even know if Laser Flash had a flash drive (Peter Murphy used to k...
