I suppose this is one of the fundamental differences between men and women...Unless the guy is a hopeless romantic, he can usually go for quite a while without seeing his significant other, and be perfectly fine. Women on the other hand, most I've encountered anyway, seem to have this need to see t...

*shrug* I don't think you're anywhere near me, but I can type something up for you. That's okay - I'm not anywhere near me when I'm playing PIU, either. Yay for no PIU machines within ~50 miles. 8) More seriously, this is probably unnecessary now because the tournament won't be using Battle mode. B...

Why the $10 in tokens? Is this how the Arcade is going to profit from your event? Seems expensive for the same game you could play anywhere else in the state. My reading was that the arcade is not actually sponsoring the event, and so the tournament rounds will require the tournament providers to u...

Web-based descriptions make Battle Mode sound far more complicated than the equivalent for DDR or ITG (where the modifiers are automatically picked by the machine). I think MonMotha would agree that Andamiro's engrish makes Battle Mode seem more complicated than it actually is. :P Nonsense! It just...

I mean, I could tolerate Motha kicking my arse on Starian (Crazy)...<cut> That sounds personal. I'm assuming this was after the Sun Shine Incident. Arka, yes, I did beat MonMotha on Let the Sun Shine (Crazy). He took the sixteenth run too fast, used to doing so on other songs. That's what yo...

I was bumped down to the losers' bracket because someone managed to full combo Let The Sunshine on me (I missed 1). I would claim that... but I did that to MonMotha, not you. ^_^ You did that to MonMotha?! You win, girl. You definitely win. Now I have to meet you. Anyway, you should definit...

I have no idea what the rules are, but I stopped by the arcade to try out PIU this Saturday, and the attendant mentioned that they were holding a tournament, advising me to come back in "a couple of weeks" and register. This tells me two things: 1) They really think they'll have the rules out in a c...

Fate of DDR-TH
Greenwood does not appear to have the Terre Haute machine; I stopped by Time Out in the Greenwood Mall on my way back from the area today, and all they had was an ITG2 stage which resembles the one in Terre Haute now (i.e., nonfunctional left arrows). The attendant told me the only new equipment the...

Birthday wishes!
Since I didn't meet my quota of making too big a deal out of birthdays on Tuesday, I'll join in: Happy birthday! Oh, the joy of turning thirteen! You'll never listen to people calling you a "tweenie" again!... actually, that's the only joy of turning 13. Hmm. Hey, want a (now slightly old) cake with...

Numbers
Hmf. The *smart* people won't raise a big fuss about numbers now... but I may, because I thoroughly failed to sufficiently abuse him this time around. Even aside from my failed attempts to be a nuisance, I've always wanted to make a big deal about someone's [random year]th birthday, just to confuse ...

Happy Birthday... MonMotha!
Everyone, please join me in wishing a very happy birthday to the resident Code Monkey.
If my calculations are correct (and they usually aren't, but today's special), it's his 21st. That's right: the fact that he can now legally buy handguns should be borne in mind when phrasing your well-wishes.
