Re: International travel!

I was in my thirties before I had ever left the country. I went to Britain (London and Oxford) for a week through my work about six years ago. The actual amount of work that we had to do there was negligible, so most of the time was actually spent sightseeing. The highlight was probably the Oxford u...

Re: Blitz Day (the PC way of saying Black Friday)

I was in a line at Toys R Us for 50 minutes  But you guys probably don't want to hear about the Barbie dolls and stuff we were getting my nieces and nephews. Oh, and later I picked up a (used) copy of Elite Beat Agents for $12.99; supposedly, it's for my kids (heh, heh). Also, read this: http...

Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day

Nice article, Riot. I remember the very first character I ever created on Everquest (1). It was on a roleplaying server, and almost immediately several people came up to me and started showing me how to play the game, ALL WHILE STAYING IN CHARACTER. Unfortunately, that experience lasted about an hou...

None taken of course. :D
But personally I'd rather be at a concert with no drunken people who will pee in the sink and pass out on top of me (speaking from experience).

Re: Election

I'm glad Obama won, and I'm glad he took Indiana. It's time for the U.S. to restore its international reputation, which Bush has pretty much destroyed.

Re: Guitar Hero World Tour

Ah, didn't realize you had the Wii version. I'd still like to jam sometime, I have RB 1 & 2 for 360 with the full she-bang. That would be cool; I haven't tried RB2 yet at all. I'll be in touch... You can create your own notecharts in this right? That'd be the only reason I'd love to play, I love ma...

Re: Guitar Hero World Tour

You're both right :D

Rock Band drums work on every system EXCEPT the Wii.
The Wii RB drums are USB, and GH4's drums are wireless and use a Wii controller.

So Sam, a full band jam session may be out unless you own a copy for XBox

Guitar Hero World Tour

I know most people here aren't fans of the Guitar Hero series but for anyone who's interested here's my super-quick review of Guitar Hero World Tour... Gameplay Several new interesting features have been added, all of which are good. These include 'open notes' (strum with no frets held down) for the...

Re: Rock Rock Revolution

There are some really good songs on here, but there are also a ton of songs that are also on pre-existing GH or RB titles. And from what I've heard so far, the cover versions aren't great. Since I only have a Wii, it's not an issue for me at the moment anyway; I'll be buying GH4 in a few weeks and c...

Warning, adult link    Sacha Baron Cohen's new movie is titled Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt . I can't wait to see that up on a marquee somewhere...

Re: Rock Band 2 Intro.....

they made the guitar parts actually challenging (I'd actually say harder than GH3, so far). What do you guys think? Wow, that's cool. One of my main problems with RB1 was how ridiculously easy the guitar parts were compared to the GH series. I'm holding out for GH4, since I like the song list bette...
