Gah, beaten to posting 10k commotion. The best (read: only) DDR webcomic.

Personally, I like El Goonish Shive.

Oh yeah. Stepcharts... I'm TEH #1 ITG FAN OMG, and even I think some of the Expert charts are bullshit - not because they're too hard, but because the steps just seem awkward. All of Euphoria Expert (wtf? seriously. wtf), some parts of Driving Force Classical Expert (I like the 270 turns, but some o...

I've noticed that ITG tends to stay around the same length as DDR; if it's longer, it's only by a small margin. Marathons have less songs than Onis (although admittedly the same as Nonstops), and the absence of Extra Stage makes normal play shorter.

Holy shit, Xuxa's out...as I notice at 10 PM...dammit.

Xuxa's one of my favorite songs, not to mention having awesome steps for every level of difficulty. And a badass video.

Quack.

Our Mishawaka machine barely ever skips, and when it does, it's hard to notice.

Let's keep this nice, eh? >.>;

To keep this as a non-flaming thread, I'll sum it up like this. MonMotha: you put credit in programs having written all of their stuff from scratch, whereas I don't care. We disagree; neither of us care about the other's opinion; end of discussion. *nod* Anyway, I seem to recall this topic was about...

Original source code does not a full gaming experience make. Cosmetics, how the UI functions, minute (and large) changes compared to competition...eh, I'll not dance around the topic. Is ITG Stepmania? No. Does it use some of the source code? Probably. But here's some cold, unarguable facts: - Every...

Yeah, um...I just about shit my pants when I heard that, thinking they were a beta location, but I heard that all of the beta locations had been confirmed and that Indiana didn't have any. Anything is possible, I guess. Also: popularity? Popularity is what killed DDR. I don't want a bunch of damned ...

A) DDR songs are licensed individually; that's why Furuhata's Theme and other popular songs rarely get more than a few mixes. Some, like Butterfly, were outright purchased by Konami, giving them the freedom to use it however they please. While these songs were licensed in the past, any legal contrac...

Thanks for a proper constructive argument - and yes, the skipping is one of ITG's major problems. Personally, I get about one tiny skip every 2 or 3 sets (this is on the Mishawaka machine), and all it does at most is give me an Excellent. Problem that needs to be fixed? Yes; problem that invalidates...

I got 1 Excellent on ROMeo & Juli8 today...damn, that sucked. I'll 100% it tomorrow - I plan on doing this for Medium also, and getting 99+ on Hard. Expert will take some work. Tried some more 10s and passed. I think I'll start going for PA more (well, FA now) just so that my card reflects my real s...

No more are confirmed AS YET, but what was at ASI was a PRE-pre-beta; the earliest version of the machine that anyone has seen.

A few more may slip in before the final release.

My god, I had a blast at DDR-A-Thon 3. That guess-the-song thing was great XD "ZOMG OVER THE RAINBOW FOR TEH WIN!!1" ...yeah. I'd also love to see IIDX/Pop'n/etc set up in a party room. I ALSO also wouldn't mind seeing ITG (or 2, if it's out by then) set up in the 4th+ for one of the days, but whate...
