Bumble Bee is coming to ITG2

Along with Follow The Sun and Typical Tropical.

DDR songs make this topic fit in with this forum, I swear. >_>;

Discuss.

They're a Namco arcade...didn't they get one of the craptastic new pads? Or has it been recalled already?

Basically anyone who was skeptical about ITG has officially had their shit ruined . Song selection is officially no longer a viable complaint, as ITG2 will effectively double its songlist - all old songs are being retained. If any old songs get cut, it'll only be the craptastical Dax ones anyway. Ye...

If I could rate up that last post, I would. I'm also one of the hardcore DDR players who plays for fun. Some people have fun in playing casually; some have fun playing to be the best, and to compete. I'm one of the latter, but I don't kill myself over it. I just try and be better than the rest of th...

The smell of burning topic draws me near... Anyway, I have a VERY "passive" rivalry with Coty, a very good player in the Mishawaka area who doesn't post on anything (except NNR). He's better than me at 10+, but I own him at everything else. We don't really take anything seriously, but I joke him abo...

Off-topic: Every Namco arcade in the nation is getting one of these TERRIBLE machines: check it out. On-topic: I'd like to add that the posted list of freestylers is soemthing this thread needs as well. It's always presumed that "best" means "best MA", and not "best overall". I know lots of people w...

I'll get the Stepmania files for the four new songs it's introducing and then keep pumping tokens into our arcade version. ;)

A little bit more on trends, since this really is what killed DDR in part... People bash stereotypes, but everyone knows that all stereotypes have at least a grain of truth in them. In DDR's case, you have the "player types". As you all know, there's a certain category of player that only plays on L...

Secef, thanks for including me in yours. ^_^

I was going to have something insightful to add to this thread, but...nah. On a totally non-asshole note, I would consider myself in the top 10 - or at elast 15, or whatever. I haven't kept up with the community very well.

About the trendiness.

It really only pisses me off when it relates to SONGS, because you'll get those goddamned people who play R3, Captain Jack, and Daikenkai EVERY SINGLE SET. Oh, Sakura Light/Beginner, too. And don't forget Crash. I could go on.

I feel I should limit this to mixes that I've -played-, since everyone would just claim Disney or something. Worst: 3rd, probably. 3rd Korean is good, normal 3rd just blows. Few good songs, poor UI, difficult to use in general. Best: MAX2, I'd have to say. It's a hard call, since Extreme is obviousl...

Counterpoint: You mentioned yourself that you can turn them off, and if I recall, only a dozen Hard charts, tops, have them. That's plenty of high score space. About looking stupid...really, only a few Hands make you look like a total retard (cough, Queen of Light Expert). The rest can be pul...

Sage's Happy Fun Sugar Thread

Yeah. 3/07 - I brought home a card. More details below. 3/03 - did Caddywhompus, I'll get more scores up soon. In the Groove Notice: for a few weeks, these scores will NOT reflect my best scores, simply the scores I caught on my card. I have a ton of stuff that I did before getting one that might ta...

Brian, you're so awesome. XD

Anyway, I just wanted to mention that I might be heading down there sometime soon to do a "college visit" at IU. We totally need to do something. (I'll make a proper post in Gettin' Together before it happens.)

Two topics are covered here, it seems. 1) DDR's future. DDR is dead - it's as simple as that. Its future doesn't exist, because it has no present. Konami of Japan hasn't put out a game since Festival, I believe, and that's the last one. Unless there's more sales than I'm aware of, Fusion (European r...
