After that, move on to the ribbon cable..Is it torn at all? wrinkled? creased? all these can destroy your cable. It is creased/folded, it was creased/folded since I first opened the case, it seems kinda silly to have it so unprotected (without rubber coating deally) so maybe I scratched the "lanes"...

So I receive my Beatmania IIDX in the mail today. I go use my slide card and BLAM, the tray is stuck in not quite open, but not quite closed position. OK, no biggie, I'll just open 'er up and see what the deal is. So I fix it, and low and behold the power LED doesnt light, the fan in tha back doesn'...
