You know what? I fucking hate FPS games on consoles. I fucking hate how ungodly oversaturated the FPS genre is. Nearly every game at E3 shown off has been some slow as fuck cinematic generic FPS.

Why can't there be something better than Quake 3 and Counter-Strike? Why does everything have to be terrible?

Well I'll most likely need a master's to get anywhere decent in the world of public health and healthcare administration. My plan was to get in on the ground or mid level of an agency like DHS or Oregon Health Authority and work for a couple of years then go back to grad school. Unfortunately, I'm not getting interviews because I'm competing with master's program people. 4-year pieces of paper are a dime a dozen these days.

So I'll retake the GRE later this summer and get some sexy letters of rec from my internship supervisors then go blow all of my savings and get loans for a program like NYU.

That, or move to France and learn the language of love. C'est la vie.

Government jobs are a real mofo to get but I wish you the best of luck. Getting a job and making money is flippin awesome but you need some luck to get your foot in the door. I imagine a Master's will open up a shit load of doors since, as you know, any wealthy heeb can drink his way through a Bachelor's these days. Oddly enough, in my case, a modicum of experience will get you calls as well. After I graduated I didn't hear shit from any place I applied to but now that I'm applying to places with a year of experience under my belt I get a call or an e-mail every other week it seems. But hey:

They are changing up the GRE this August I believe and are arguably making it easier so if you can afford to wait then I strongly recommend it. They're allowing calculators and getting rid of analogies which should honestly make shit trivial unless you're a poopy writer. I'm half retarded and my scores were thus:

Verbal - 490 (48th percentile)
Math - 560 (48th percentile)
Writing - 4.0 (52nd percentile)

This should get me into most non-Ivy grad programs that aren't engineering or English literature. I'm waiting to hear back from an IU graduate program but I don't have an ounce of worry that I won't get in.

Sorry for table breaking.

Yeah I got 600 verbal, 640 quantitative and 4.0 on writing. I know I can do better buuuut not sure if it's worth it when 2 of the 4 programs I'm interested in are like "GRE? I guess you can send us those scores..."

To answer your question from earlier, Merk, they can be income-based if you apply for that type of payment option, which I did. There is a stipulation where you have to pay at least a certain percentage that covers interest, though. I forget all the exact details. At any rate, when you owe a lot of money payments are going to be high regardless. Student loans + a bank loan + child support + phone bill + gas + food = a lot. I have maybe $50-80 a week to fuck around with right now.
Should hopefully change a little bit soon as I get raises at work, get the bank loan paid off (this month hopefully!), and change cell phone providers.

Why do you want to make J-Core?

The only music I've really been working on is for Jim's game.

I am officially done with all undergraduate coursework. I get to wear my spiffy biodegradable gown (yay Oregon) on Monday and sit around listening to people cheer us on.

Bring a flask?

Make a swastika in bright white electrical tape on your cap and goosestep the entire time you're walking to the assembly with your school.
