Yeah. It wasn't anything specific, but just the notion of BlackCat, BigBadOrc, and WhiteDragon being so detached.dubukat wrote:I was wondering the same thingsHo wrote:Asking what about it? And did it make you sad because they're not on here to see whatever they were asking about for themselves?

Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
I hope everyone has a great week : )
This is one of those weird weeks where I am off today through Friday night and then I'm working through the weekend. My job is pretty neat but man this 4-day-4-day-off takes a bite out of my social schedule.
Why can't people drive in downtown Indy? Each time I went to work today I almost got hit. Today some dude jetted halfway out into an intersection right as I was going through it and I had to slam on the horn and quickly swerve into the left lane. Thank God no one was in the other lane!

Not that people drove well back in Cincy, but I did notice that people drive pretty badly here. Also there are some traffic signage differences that were throwing me off at first.

this just in: everyone sucks at driving

Only when it's rainy, icy, windy, stormy, Friday, before noon, after 6:00 PM, Presidents Day, below 71 degrees, a leap year, or rapture.dubukat wrote:Not that people drove well back in Cincy, but I did notice that people drive pretty badly here. Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
Dear Mr. Fluffy,
I hope this post finds you well. I apologize for my recent long-term rampant absence of posting all the time, but it is so hard to find the time to write in these troubling times. As you well know, life is hard out here on the front lines. Last week we ran out of bacon.
On a lighter note, I saw a truck today. It went "vrrrrrrrroooooooooooom!" I passed it quickly and henceforth forgot about it until this time right now when I remembered it and said to myself "hot damn, Fluffy must know!"
Oh, and I do so hope that you have found a solution to your... um... problem...
Sincerely yours,
WhiteDragon

Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
Man this is like the perfect job or me! So much chill time to study, read forums, or watch SC2 matches. My co-workers (in my department) all have a good sense of humor and the standard corporate BS is kept to a minimum since I'm literally the only one working here during the night shifts. Our customers are self-sufficient and being on Facebook is encouraged. Swearing is rampant, no one is overly sensitive (political/religious debates are kosher), people are willing to help you out (Apparatus was so shitty about this), and the gay guy who is training me is all about making gay jokes and is a-ok with people making gay jokes.
I don't know, I like being around people who can laugh at themselves and can take a joke because I fucking do it all the time. I like to think it shows a mature personality - people are too prideful about their identities in my opinion. Everyone around here loves the guy who is training me and respects him as one of the best people in the department and I totally agree with them. Obviously no one shoots around "Faggot" around him because language like that is really low-brow and trashy, but throwing a "No homo" after saying something that could be taken as gay depending on the context can usually illicit a good chuckle.
Maybe I'm just a jerk, maybe our sense of humor here is Seinfeldian, but either way I think I like my job. Give it a year.
