Tethered to my phone, I was wondering where the hell my bandwidth was going.
Opened this page and realized it was still loading :/

Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
I remember ragging on people several years ago because their signature banners were so excessively large that they noticeably slowed page load times on my FiOS connection (which was faster than what I have now by a factor of about 4). Sadly, 18MB is smaller than some of the other things I saw. I think somebody had a 28MB signature once.
A normality test:
+++ATH
If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

Who knows, he could be talking about Ladder Theory.Merk wrote:

It's one of those lyrics that doesn't make a whole lot of sense (a ladder can really only get you so much) but for some reason it's the perfect lyric.

I couldn't find that oldass drunk IndyDDR thread, so this'll have to do.
I'm in NYC, just celebrated one of my best friend's birthdays and just had an awesome night.
That's it.
Life, live it now 'cause there's no round 2.

Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
You actually bring up a good point! Someone that I knew fairly well in high school died suddenly over the weekend. From what I can tell they died due to an allergic reaction to some medication they were given while in the ER for chest pains. Now, this person had a legit heart condition and all that so it's hard to say what the exact cause was, but holy shit is that a bad way to go. It sort of makes you wonder if they would still be alive had they not gone to the hospital.
What sucks the most is that this person was actually a pretty nice person sans a few moments dickish moments here and there. It's very surreal to see all these people post on their Facebook wall and to look at the last few things that person posted or did on Facebook; in a way it's sort of their epitaph. The finality of death is very humbling and things like this make you appreciate the fragility of life and just how easy it could all end.
I've posted this before but what I fear the most about death is the fact that we can never see it coming. I'll never know the last post I will make, the last meal I will have, the last thing I will see, taste, feel, my last thought, and my final breath. Everything will just sort of stop and those that survive me will have to cope or feign bereavement with the biggest pity being that I won't be able to appreciate it all.

Am I afraid of dying, or afraid of living?
