You ever notice that most people who play DDR are kind of psychopaths? You know, like there's something wrong with them?

This seems like a pretty interesting game idea.

So... Only 8 people can be playing this game at any given time?

I think it's an interesting concept that there is a metagame though, so while there may only be 8 "players," there are hundreds/thousands of players making the decisions about the game they're watching. The spectators are the ones adjusting experience and stuff, and with the popularity of Twitch I can see this being a new genre of game... like some kind of shared spectator hybrid.

Spectator games are a real thing for sure, but to date they've only influenced an AI instead of an actual player. I just don't know that I want to have my 3 minutes in the sun, then go back to the chat room forever more.

Man, what's going on everybody? How is everyone's life?
Brian, how is Canada?
Brian, how is Canada?
Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
We were in Canada for one very specific purpose, so we didn't do a lot of things. But I enjoyed the few things we did do. I hope to go back sometime and do more stuff.
Highlights:
- Good food (I gained 6 lbs.)
- Casino (I won around $80 CAD playing slots)
- Canada has awesome cash-The "paper" money is colorful, has a clear window strip in it with a hologram, and is actually made entirely of plastic so it doesn't tear. The coins include $1 and $2 coins. Pennies are dead.

Man I enjoyed the poutine when I went to Quebec last year.

We need an equivalent of twonies here in the USA. I love dollar coins and use them frequently, at least partly because it's fun to see somebody figure out what to do with them.Ho wrote:- Canada has awesome cash-The "paper" money is colorful, has a clear window strip in it with a hologram, and is actually made entirely of plastic so it doesn't tear. I mean, hey, we've got two dollar bills, which I love to use for the same reason, so why not two dollar coins?
...and while we're at it, if Japan can have 500 yen coins, we can have $5 coins, too.
Then again, maybe this isn't such a good idea. I might actually start using cash, again.

If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

Man, I love paying with credit and having a job to be able to pay off credit cards immediately. The idea of cash back isn't too bad either, it's like getting paid to be a capitalist pig-dog!

Re: [Grubb's] Random Thoughts of the Day
I've always wondered how much wealth in the United States, specifically in the form of pennies, is sitting around in a jar instead of being invested or exchanged.
http://www.statisticbrain.com/u-s-household-statistics/
115,227,000 household in the United States. If each house had 10 cents in pennies, that's $11,522,700 in cash just sitting around doing nothing. I suspect my 10 cent estimate is low, making the number even more ridiculous.

Not to mention all the fountains that are filled with pennies!
