Holy crap earthquake

I just heard about the quake in IL today.

I felt it here in carmel, it felt like someone was shaking my bed a little bit to wake me up.

It woke me up ten minutes before my alarm went off. Seeing as I'm from California, my reaction was "heh, an earthquake... Wonder what time it is... Oh, ten minutes still..." Then I went back to sleep.

The people that live above me often have sex on Sunday nights, really loudly. I thought it was them at first, just going harder than usual - enough to shake my bed back and forth.

But then I saw the news this morning!

The best way I could describe it would be airplane turbulence. Here, shaky, then gone after 5 seconds. Back to normal.

this quake is just a prelude to a massive f**cking quake that is going to happen in about 40-50 years though...you think hurricane katrina was bad, St. Louis will be flattened

I slept right through that bitch. A lot of people in the fort say they felt it, but I didn't feel a thing...I suspect they're just saying they felt it to be trendy. We really don't have anything else to talk about here.
