Re: Internet dating *or* grasping for love at end of one's rope
Anything where you have to pay a fee to feel special is retarded. Last I heard you need a 1250 SAT score (on the old scale) to get accepted into Mensa after paying dues and whatnot.
And this is coming from someone who was in a fraternity.
I mean honestly, I'm sure Mensa when it first started out was well intentioned and had a goal of bringing smart people together to do smart things but then the internet came about and sperglords who have nothing to show for their supposed intelligence flocked to Mensa to help them feel better than everyone else. I'm guessing most Mensa members don't have doctorates or medical degrees.

I have a facebook page, with many female friends on it. I suppose you could say that counts for something. Otherwise, nope, I'm not beatin' the brakes off any lady catching here....

They sit around a try to think of unique snowflake words to excuse away their asocial behavior.

I want to believe what I just read was satire.
Edit: There are plenty of books, magazines, and posters about cats.

I'm all for being open minded, but letting things like this go just cheapens everything else that people actually should be open minded about.

This is the most interesting topic...
In light of the original question. I never really could engage myself into Online dating, I find it "artificial" I guess. Though, I rarely have gone on any dates in my life, so I might be screwing myself on that. Lol.

You should give it a shot. As soon as you physically meet the person, it becomes completely organic. True colors come out, and you learn more in two minutes of talking than in the most thorough OKC profile.WyomingMyst wrote:This is the most interesting topic...
