From Twin Galaxies:
Twin Galaxies would like to thank all people who have "volunteered" their services in any capacity.

Since October 3rd, 2012 Twin Galaxies operations have been centralized in Denver, Colorado. Included in that centralization was the elimination of all "volunteer" and "field" positions other than arcade referee Stephen Boyer.

Going forward any communication or announcements that do not come through the Denver offices can be considered invalid and erroneous.

In as much as there were never any official "employees" of Twin Galaxies, the resignations that have been circulating on the internet are meaningless.

For those of you whom wish to submit scores for verification, the new submission guidelines will be available/announced on Saturday November 17th 2012.

We are very excited to announce the new direction of Twin Galaxies next week, and we are looking forward to reestablishing the integrity that was compromised under the previous management and ownership.
Give me a break. Until King of Kong, only half a dozen people knew Twin Galaxies existed. How on earth can one documentary propel a bunch of old gamers stuck in in the 1980s into this kind of state. Honestly, grow up.

Black Friday sales are getting deeper into Thursday every year.

Sears opens at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving this year and will remain open all night until 10 p.m. on Friday. Last year it did the 4 a.m. on Black Friday thing but caved to customers for a pushed back start time, said a spokeswoman.
Gap will have around 1,100 Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic stores open on Thanksgiving day and an additional 1,500 more at midnight on Black Friday.
Best Buy is going to open its doors at midnight, same as last year, and will give reservation tickets to those waiting up to two hours ahead of time for certain items.
Macy‘s will also do the midnight opening for Black Friday, as it did in 2011.
Target is keeping mum so far on its plans — so cagey, Target! Do tell.
Staples is a bit of a late starter, relatively speaking, with a 5 a.m. opening time. But hey, that’s an hour earlier than last year for the store, and there will be special offers for mobile shoppers the night before at 11 p.m.

What the heck, camping out on sidewalks in 30 degree weather with a gut full of holiday cheer is what Thanksgiving is all about!

I don't really need a whole lot of shit in my life these days electronics-wise but I could use some new clothes and maybe a new pair of shoes.

hahahaha

No but that's funny! Didn't realize that that could have totally been interpreted that way. I do need to hit up a craps table though, my casino gambling has been pretty dismal this year (lost $400 in New Orleans at the poker table) but my sports betting has been going fairly well this year and I made decent money betting on the election. I have a French Lick trip planned for December 7th for my company's holiday party so hopefully I can get something back on my losses.

Brian we need to hit up a casino again sometime. An IndyDDR casino trip yayyyyy!

Yeah Riot's latest one is pretty subpar. I got used to the parrotfrog even though I was initially turned off of it - Deal With It Dog was the most appropriate Riot av IMO.

I will never change my avatar because I feel like its been ingrained in the indyDDR culture.

But for real you had Boo Radley for like 8 years and now he will never grace an indyDDR post ever again.
