Make Merk feel good contest

Merk needs an esteem booster, and there isn't a group of people on the planet better equipped to do this than IndyDDR. Please say something nice about Merk. The person that makes Merk feel the best (measured in warm fuzzies) wins the contest.
I'll start.
Merk: You like to bet on dumb inconsequential things and, in a way, gamify life.

In a weird way that comes across as nagging sarcasm, you kind of want what's best for everybody and for everyone to have a good time even if nobody takes it that way sometimes!
