Miami Metro is filled with the WORST cops on the planet. Sure, cops in other countries take bribes, but the don't run around killing people on a whim. I guess there's a little dark passenger in all of us LOL.

I don't think I can bring myself to watch the series finale.

* Deb gets shot but doesn't die, she turns into a vegetable, Dexter visits her in the hospital and mercy kills her by pulling the plug

* Dexter kills the dude who shot Deb inside an interview room at Miami Metro. In true Dexter fashion, Miami Metro says that Dexter killed the guy in self-defense and Dexter gets away with murder.

* Hannah and Harrison go to Argentina with the thought that Dexter will catch up to them later.

* Dexter buries Deb at sea and then drives into a hurricane, Miami Metro, Hannah, and Harrison presumes that Dexter is dead. Fade to black.

* Fade-in on the wreckage of Dexter's boat. Dexter is a lumberjack in some Pacific Northwest / Maine looking area, he has just returned from his shift to a barren home, he looks sullenly out a window...


Basically, Dexter doesn't get caught or die and no one ever finds out about his secret. Dexter chooses exile

Just started Season 8. Episode 1 is just... so... bad. It feels more like CSI Miami.

Yuuuuup, I watched the first two eps and couldn't do it anymore. It's a real shame that the writers forgot how to write a compelling show after the first four seasons because the whole cat-and-mouse "cop who kills people the law couldn't catch" idea is actually pretty neat and could have been real suspenseful.

They just had to muck it up with stupid ass Tom Hanks jr and retarded babysitter plots that were literally forgotten about one episode after they were introduced.

Did you know if you have spyware installed, you can actually spy back through the same channel? Dexter is a show about cyber-security.
