If you keep watching daily fluctuations you're going to pull all your hair out. Like you said you're in it for the long haul, the changes over a couple days are meaningless.

Indeed. Either day trade as an occupation (people make decent money doing so, if they're good) or exercise an educated buy and hold of quality assets. Retirement accounts are the easiest; you know you can't really do anything with them for decades (at your age). For general brokerage accounts, identify your liquidity needs, risk tolerance, and goal timelines and invest appropriately.
A normality test:
+++ATH
If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

NOPE! Gotta obsess over my little numbers. I like to have little things I can obsess over to keep me distracted from my real problems.

GOOG is down a stock split to make their shit affordable. Right now it's trading at 1,100 and the split should cut that in half.

GOOG is pretty much free money soooooooooo yeah, if you have the capital then get some sweet, sweet shares.
