You are in a kitchen.  The sun is setting, and you're beginning to feel hungry.  A voice booms from upstairs, "Hon, will you boil some water and cook some pasta?"  You feel it would be best to oblige your partner's wishes.

You're very familiar with the area.  Bright fluorescent lights reveal cabinets lining the walls, filled with all of the usual necessities for food preparation.  There is a doorway leading to a pantry where most of the food is kept.  An open floorplan leads to a nearby dining room.  Appliances include a stove/oven, refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher.

The cabinets are filled with pots, pans, lids, and other paraphernalia.  Everything is neatly organized.  You should be able to find anything you're looking for.  Out of the corner of your eye you spot your favorite pot for cooking instant ramen.  It's well worn, but you can't seem to part with it.  Please make a Will saving throw:

You drift off in a sea of nostalgia...
There was a time you didn't have enough money for a proper meal, and would cook ramen out of some mix of necessity and want.  Back in your day you could get a packet of Maruchan for less than a quarter, and that's about all you could afford for your nourishment.  Life wasn't easy, but it felt more simple.  You wonder if you would have survived without your ramen pot, a pack of Oriental flavored instant noodles, and about 7 minutes.  You wonder what it would be like to go back knowing then what you know now.  You wonder about your choices, and how things might have turned out if you had done something differently.  You wonder about your old friend.  


Minutes pass by.


You feel sensation of vibrating in your right pocket.

"let me know once the pasta is boiling.  i will start on the chicken :)"

There is also a notification reminding you to update your Gmail app.  You have 7 cents, and a receipt for the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger you purchased at Wendy's for lunch.  Thinking about lunch makes you more hungry.
