Okay, wow, I had a really great night last night at TnT. I guess I just needed a change of scenery from ITG. Okay, so I went with like 3 goals in mind: 1)Pass Paranoia Survivor, 2)Get a AA on a 9-footer (I hadn't done that yet), and 3) Get a Heavy AAA.
1)TOTALLY DID IT. Got a B on Survivor (31 non-combo steps)
2) KILT IT KILT IT KILT IT. Not only did I AA ONE 9-footer, I AAd 3! Irresistiblement (not too many greats but some misses), Matsuri Japan (61 greats), and Can't Stop Falling In Love Speed Mix (I think 69 greats).
3)GOT CLOSER THAN EVER. Eh, still no AAA, but I got La Copa down to 7 greats.

Other Stuff
AAd Jam Jam Reggae (first time ever playing it)
FCd Rhythm and Police (75 greats...ya I know)
Got a B on Max 300 (highest grade on it so far)
Meh, and some other crap like A on So Deep (first time playing), A on Twilight Zone (first time playing), B on Healing Vision (Angelic Mix) (first time passing, second time playing).

So yeah, basically had a great night. Zach, how come you weren't there?

Dan, I think Kind Lady is easier than Ricky Martin. You should give it a try. Kind Lady or Freckles was my first AAA, but Kind Lady is the easier of those two.

Is Keep on Movin' on Extreme (AC)? Lol, and I know La Copa isn't the EASIEST Heavy song, but it's close, and (for some odd reason that I don't know) I want that to be my first AAA.

It will more than likely be my first and only AAA if I ever do it. I've got mad pride in LCDLV.

Eh, I've been getting better at Stepmania lately. I ALMOST passed Halloween (Speedy Mix) and I can pass it at .9x. I got an A on Star Wars (that simfile's tight ask me for it) and ya basically been getting better, I think I can knock out most 11-footers now, possibly some 12s. I blackflagged We Know What To Do Expert about 3 times in a row...grr.

Yay! Had another good night at TnT. AAd 3 more 9-footers, So Deep (43 greats I think, 1 good), Twilight Zone (no freaking clue, but I missed 1 or 2), and...get ready for this...CARTOON HEROES! YAY! (58 greats FC). Like, the HARDEST 9-FOOTER (or at least one of them). So yeah I'm really happy about that.

Other Notables
FCd Sakura (86 greats I think)
6 greats and a pad miss on La Copa, but since pad misses can't be verified, w/e the official one is still 7 greats
I got a bunch of As (near AAs) on a bunch of 7- and 8-footers that I had never done/heard of.

So yeah, I didn't do too well on the hard ones (Max 300, PS) but I still passed em okay, and I'm starting to get better on the death streams on PS. I think I had 24 misses on Max 300, but I'm pretty sure I did better last time.

Okay I know this isn't really like a brag, but I'm really excited cuz I was just dancing on Stepmania (no pad, just doing it) and I SWEAR I'VE GOT SURVIVOR DOWN! I mean, I was playing it, and those crossovers...man, I NAILED em! So yeah, I'm pretty sure I was close to an FC. So basically I'm gonna pwn it next time I go to the arcade. And I tried PSMH, and I'm pretty sure I passed it, so I'll have to try that next time at the arcade too.

Well, yesterday at Lazer-X went ok, considering I didn't only play DDR and I hadn't been there in forever.

New AAs
Boom Boom Dollar (Finally...19 greats :))
Tribal Dance* (First try in like 3 months...28 greats I think) (*My bad I put twilight zone on this and just now edited it...nobody's gonna read this :P)
Drop Out :D (...but with 78 greats :()

Other Stuff
11 greats on Kick the Can, first try

Hey, what do you guys consider the hardest song in DDR? PSMO? Or one of the Maxs? And is LOM or Unlimited harder? Cuz as far as I know, I have 4 songs left to pass (I'm not counting all those <=8-footers that I've never played cuz I'm pretty sure I could do those): LOM, Unlimited, PSMH, and PSMO.

OOO Stepmania stuff!

FINALLY:

Only 2x

And I'm SOOO CLOSE TO AAA on this:
Image
Stupid-ass 4 greats...

-Dan

EDIT: Damn 5th mix scoring...my Drop Out score isn't really a AA...o well I'll get it next time at TnT.

Nope, he's new to SM so give him a break.

The only real way to get good at SM is to play keyboard stuff. Download the packs, or try to get someone to burn them on a cd for you. It's so worth it.

And kinda, Dan.
