Re: Ho's Humility Thread
Dunno about the community. I don't really participate. I just bet.
The chat seems to be about the same as always. Salty has its own memes and people talk about the fights in delightfully juvenile and entertaining ways.
They keep adding new features, characters, arenas, and music. It's been enough to keep me in it all this time.

I never went back after I lost it all on some bet that was supposedly a sure thing according to that Hato Sabure whatever website.

Riot had $2,000,000 before he quit.

Was that all? I thought it was $3 million.Fluffyumpkins wrote:Riot had $2,000,000 before he quit.

You know, my initial reaction to these recent posts was "Holy shit Salty Bet is still a thing?" and I realized IndyDDR has been going strong for like the last 10+ years and DDR's popularity died years ago.

Also, if anything we should just rename IndyDDR to IndyRandom at this point.

I made it to $2 million! Happy birthday to me!
I am also in the top 200 at #184 (at least for now). My W/L percentage has fallen from about 70% to 67.5%, but I've learned that you can make hella salt on the new tournament system. The exhibitions are also a good place to catch a dream bet if you can develop a good trap detector.

Man, the meta of internet cock fighting sure has changed since I stopped following it closely. RIP goose cookie.
Re: Ho's Humility Thread
Salty Bet apparently has a growing wealth gap at the top not unlike the USA. Since my last update, I have crossed the $2.3 million mark, but my overall standing has dropped to #194.
The moral of this story is that there is nothing more American than Salty Bet!
USA! USA! USA!

Re: Ho's Humility Thread
I'm glad that Salty Bet is still a thing.
Re: Ho's Humility Thread
I finally made it to 2.5 million in Salty Bet. However, my overall standing has dropped to #218. My ability to make money seems to have leveled off quite a bit and there is a lot more money at the top pushing me down. I may need to get more aggressive with my bets if I hope to gain any more ground.
