Barely passed Breaking Point Normal, I hate the end of Hardcore of the North...

And I passed Energy Intense. Tension is a beast trying to push through that beginning part. Gotta love the funny percentage I got.

Passed the bastard Normal Nightmare course. Need about +3 Stamina & +4 Tech if I want to pull off the Intense version. I still need to beat Vertex^2 Expert first without mods if I intend to beat it modded on a course. :/

Congratulations! You are both more skilled and more dedicated than I.

Also, be happy but please don't die if you pass Vertex^2. :)

Well, in all sincerity, the main reason I still play rhythm games is that it's fun exercise, so I try and do that 3 times a week (whether ITG or PiU). But, it's nice to have goals, so I still want to beat Vertex^2 so that I can say I've beaten all the ITG songs.

The last real goal was to get a 96% on all 9 footers and then work on 10 & 11 footers, but the machine went sour and I had stopped playing ITG for a while.

V^2 is all about knowing the speed changes. Get those and you should be good.

You could always just play V^2 with a C400 speed mod and learn the rhythm that way before playing it with regular speed mods. When I clear shit like Bag on extra stage it's not because I can read it - it's just because I have a good handle on how the rhythm goes.

I do V^2 like I do Vertex, 1.5x on Mini. The thing that always screw up is holding down the arrows in the beginning and then paying for the lack of health bar when I have to do the speed intensive runs near the middle & end. Gonna shoot for it tomorrow and see if I can also beat Bloodrush again.

An update on random ITG accomplishments, I cleared two more marathon courses.

I beat Chill Out Normal, which was a pain because I kept losing on Twilight because I could never read one of three parts that kept killing me, and then I luckily had enough bar to survive not remembering it had triple & quad hits at the end. I also passed the Hard marathon that had High/We Know What To Do/Know Your Enemy/Robotix. I kept losing on Robotix because I can't read Reverse well enough to tackle it successfully.

How many times did you die? Was it in 4 figures?

Enough. Practicing the game, I died over a hundred times. During the official first win over the game, I died about 7 times, but no continues. Hoping to do a no death run for Wednesday's show.

It's sad for a game to give a good amount of one ups, but amount to nothing in the end.
