Wow. I wish I knew that a decent machine still existed in Indiana. I love how Kyle (maintenance guy at Putt-Putt) rants about how that machine in Fort Wayne is the best one in Indina. Yet I can't play a whole set through without getting some sort of pad shit. I shouldn't have to change the way I play to make up for how shitty the machine is, nor am I going to. I'd rather play on a legit machine farther away even if it does cost more, simply for the fact that it's allowed me to see how much more worthy it really is playing there. Not to mention, it's in a bowling alley! :D ^_^

Today was awesome. For the people that missed it Chris and I had a little no bar tournament. This is the results from one of the songs:

No bar is for true men. I wanna play no bar then get back on the bar after a few months, but I will never motivate myself to do it. I'm proud of my fer sure score though. Too bad I don't have any proof of the record.

I didn't even know such a place existed until I came here to post again... so I checked out the place tonight for the first time. Just dropped by to say that this machine kicked my ass all kinds of horrible. "Quasar? 10 footer? That shouldn't be too hard..." *gets raped*. It's not that I can't read any of these more difficult custom charts (rather simple step patterns), my legs (mostly my thighs) just give out after doing fast stream for so long. Any tips/suggestions to get better at these?

It does feel good however, when you're warming up with Max 300/LoM to play even harder songs later. :D

One question though, why a Touhou theme? Weird combination, but no complaints here. I'm so glad there's a hacked DDR machine so close to where I live. Thanks :)

Looking for good SFIII:3S, SFIV players in the Indianapolis area to play with! (I'm currently ranked ~180 on PSN SFIV)

There's a Touhou theme? OHSHI-

No but.. if you're wanting to work on being able to do those steams (which actually aren't that fast.. no offense. ^^) I'd say just play stuff that tires you out more often. Either by playing quasar more and pushing yourself to get farther into the song, or by playing other tiring stuff.

I sound repetitive, don't I. >_>

Anyway, tl;dr play stuff that makes you super tired

@joors is right. Just set goals for songs when you come in. If you can't pass it then keep pushing yourself more gradually. Quasar shouldn't be a 10 anyway lol.
I'm probably gonna be there Saturday if I'm availible.
