Long gone are the days of Chad spending his lunch break trying to game the system by playing Speed of Light.

It was fun to try and math out how much money he could save on a Xbox360 or some shit by playing perfectly. I think he was break-even at best if you disregard the time spent to game the system.

The moral of the story is that the house always wins guys, the house always wins.

I miss going to lunch there. The food was decent and they were giving us 30% off for awhile.

Man..... it's funny how life changes, isn't it? How are the new digs downtown? Enjoying the commute?

Downtown is good. I like downtown. Lots of stuff within walking distance. It's been good for Fitbit and Ingress. The office itself is fine.

Commute blows. It's about double the time, but that's not even what's bothering me. It's more the fact that I can't avoid hitting potholes like...every damn day. I'm feeling like my poor car is going to need new wheels and suspension before it's all over.

Now what steps does one need to take for suing the city for damages to your car?

D&B is rolling out "all games 1/2 off, Sunday-Thursday from 9pm-closing", which is in addition to Wednesdays (which does NOT apply to "all" games)

Too bad there's nothing worth playing here (or is there?)

I'll sometimes stop in to see what they have when I go to Main Event. Last I saw they didn't really have anything that Main Event didn't aside from Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots and a simulator thing. Plus, they don't have DDR or Pump.

Now that Boss Battle Games is moving to Castleton, I might check it out more since I'd already be in the mall's parking lot.

Just went there Wednesday. No DDR (shocker) or PIU still.

I'd say there's a slight chance they get XX as D&B seems to like having at least one dance game per location, but obviously don't hold your breath.

I'm assuming that in 5 years, our only public dance machines will be the Laser Flash ITG and the PIU Infinity at Latitude. Those could even be gone by then for all we know.
3 and a half years later and we still have quite a few around. ITG is gone now, but Main Event was able to keep Infinity. Boss Battle Games has SN2 (and maybe PIU?). And then you have everything not really worth playing (NX, Exceed, SN2 at Tilt, X2 at Incrediplex, randomly scattered machines across the city).

Dave & Buster's replaced old PIU cabinets (GX and DX) with DDR A20 this month. Indianapolis doesn't have either old or new PIU so we continue to not have DDR A20 either.
