I'm relatively sure I never gave you my Chaoz Japan edit which I think is really good and really challenging. Download and play! Probably best to play on x3... if you play on CMods it kinda ruins some of the stops/slowdowns. It's definitely a 10 footer and IMO the steps are really well done BUT THEN AGAIN I MADE THEM. Anyways hopefully I gave you the right folder I have like 5 versions of this song in my old stepmania folder, so hopefully this is the one with my edit.

PLEASE PLAY IT AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK

You already have it I guess, but here's a link to "The Wings of a Boy That Killed Adolescence"

http://www.mediafire.com/?bd1o2igi0aod6kp

If anybody hasn't played it, please try it, as I think it's actually really really fun and just the perfect amount of challenge without being frustrating. Don't mind that the file names are all still Ageha, I just edited that file a long time ago and never changed the names... whoops. Anyways, only Merk and Chad have probably played it, so I'd love for others with Stepmania to just try it out to humor me. That and Chaos Japan. Hell I'll just upload my other one while I'm at it since I like that song even the steps aren't as awesome: http://www.mediafire.com/?l090xufc0awbpdd

I actually have an idea for a few songs that would be good to use but I've never really been able to bring in original songs, find BPMs, etc. I usually just edit existing songs. I'll have to look into it, but I really do like making charts.

Dave since you are just soooooo good at ITG play Chaoz Japan and AAA it.

What did you name that edit you made for Radical Faith? I remember it being lulzy.

I never made that for Stepmania. I had like 50 edits for the home versions of DDRMAX and MAX2 and a few I used some old goofy program and my Dexdrive to make for the arcade cabinets with my little PS1 memory card, and pretty much every edit name had "Riot" in it somehow. My favorite ones were DXRiot (DXY), Riot Vision (Healing Vision Angelic), and Riotment (Irresistiblement)

DXRiot. That was it.

I've made a few step charts (3 I think.)

First Love (some trance song) didn't really pan out how I'd hoped.
Eye to Eye (GMS Remix) turned out ok.
Starry Sky is pretty fun, but needs to be remastered. I turned up the gain so I could hear it at Laser Flash, keke.

I ended up making these from scratch, including cutting the music and syncing. Kind of a pain in the ass, but oh well.

I made a stepchart to test my prowess. It's a solid 8 to a groovy track.

I made this in Stepmania 5 so hopefully the global offset or whatever doesn't fuck with the timing since you're rolling with Stepmania 3.9, the song is synched properly on my machine here.

Speaking of which, what theme are you going to put on the machine?

Here's a good Extreme one: http://stepmaniathings.com/downloads/th ... treme.html

Should we *gasp* MAKE ONE OURSELVES?

I got my new set of sensors from Betson, and finished installing them on one side last night. I played a few songs, and everything seems to run well. Load times are still high, but thousands of songs will do that I suppose. Next up is P1 side and more cleaning.

Current theme is Foon Mix 2.

Let me stop you right there. NO.

Anyway, I would run SM5 on there. Because http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewt ... 320&page=1. Also there's an ITG3 theme out right now: http://www.stepmania.com/forums/showthr ... e-groove-3 and also 5th mix: http://www.stepmania.com/forums/showthr ... on-5th-Mix

I think Fluffy knows a bit more than you when it comes to this subject.

I'm curious, can I get more info about this stepman cabinet? I'm assuming you started with an old DDR machine am I right? How much did that run you, and how much has the project cost so far? What changes have you made so far?
