DJ Max

Thanks to this little site.

I got DJ Max up and running on my puter. Much better than O2Jam.

The site also hosts
http://djmaxus.bemanistyle.com/files/jo ... nglish.zip
A program that lets you use a Joypad in place of a keyboard.

Now you can use your IIDX controller for 02Jam/DJ Max or another controller for Maple Story.

This has been a good day.

DJMax2- Best game ever or bestest game ever?

Seriously, if you have a PSP you will like this game. It's a GREAT music game and really provides a challenge at high levels (unlike nearly all other music games). Really great soundtrack, button layout, videos/graphics, interface, TONS AND TONS AND TONS of unlocks, etc. etc. I guarantee you'll like it. So buy it.

If you guys have a PSP, you should buy the DJ Max games fo sho! Just got DJ Max Clazziquai edition that came out this month, it's a lot easier than the others so far but the music is pretty sweet. Mostly house/electro/k-pop, and as usual lots of fun to play. Also, the tutorial is all awesomely engrishy

I'm looking forward to the US release, albeit it unfortunately did get pushed back to the the start of next year. (I may finally break down and get a PSP.)

All the DJ Max games have English modes, and the "korean" version works just fine on English PSPs. All the games so far have been pretty awesome, the new one scheduled to be the US debut is just a compilation of some of the songs in the first 2. Just import DJ Max 1 and 2, better anyways.

Clazziquai Edition is supposed to be more for the new/casual player to get into the series, as for the most part it's a ton easier than the rest. But it still has some good music and is worth playing, but DJ Max 1 and 2 are awesome as a whole, and the upcoming DJ Max: Black Square will be sweet.

I know that the US release is going to be a mix of 1 and 2 and I know that the PSP will play the original games just fine as there is no regional faggotry. The reason why I am looking forward to the US release is cause I am interested in seeing how well it does and possibly using other people to get into rhythm games that involve an actual timing window.

I first gotta have PSP that actually works...:( Anybody know how to fix the PSP when I face the problem involving the laser part of my PSP? (i.e. my PSP won't read any UMD. Otherwise, it works fine). Or, if someone's interested in selling their PSP, just let me know. Thank you.

If it is a first-gen, you can probably hack it to play games from the memory stick. Then just find whatever game you want at the torrent site of your choice. :D

DJ MAX Trilogy has been released (Albeit Play Asia won't be shipping it until the 29th due to issues beyond their control for the Korean version) and there are a few notes concerning the release.

First, it has been confirmed that in order to play the game the USB key that comes with the game has to be plugged in. (Their method of fighting piracy) Second, unlike alot of other PC rhythm games this has widescreen capabilities and is not restricted to 800x600 resolution. (Something I'm VERY happy about to say the least.)

Given these notecharts, I hope we can map the keys given how some keyboards can't handle more than 3 keypresses at the same time.
