Activision's next rhythm series: DJ Hero?

Post by Amp Divorax » Sat Feb 16, 2008 9:22 pm

Ok, this is rather surprising and at the same time frightening.

If it's all (c)rap music then Activision will have lost their minds.

Beatmania for dummies...lets take a game that is hard and fine the way it is, and remove the grading system and make it hit or miss... I do not look forward to this at all.

Maybe the game will just simulate the world's most popular DJ, Tiesto, and you score points by matching his awesome skill at tweaking the filter knob on his mixer.
It will also come with a camera so it can measure your rate of bopping around with a shit eating grin on your face for bonus points.

I definitely know how that feels. When I first saw it I thought it would be some article by the Onion or something.

They had a story about Sousaphone Hero once.

Fun fact: only 3 posts at IndyDDR.com contain the word "boop."

I know we're joking here, but I think I'd be generally disinterested in any music game that would require me to put my mouth on the controller--especially if we're talking about an arcade game.
