Re: DJ MAX Technika
When it comes to songs to play, I suggest doing a few rounds in Star Mixing which has only three lanes and a not as harsh health bar. Once you can comfortably pass the mid to high range on that mode I say switch over to Pop Mixing and work through the songs on difficulty. Also, if you have access to a internet connection to buy songs for Pop Mixing that will fit in your difficulty and make them available on all stages. (I don't see a point in buying for Star Mixing as it can be considered the Pop'N Music equivalent to 5 button.)

I don't think it will be that long.Merk wrote:Over/under on the Technika line?

1. Not a Bemani con, but a gaming con with side Bemani.
2. Big costs for someone whose only interest is Bemani.
3. People that attend Gen-Con but don't play Bemani will probably skip the event.
There's only a small subset of people that care about this stuff in the least, and most of them will probably be playing DDR or IIDX. I bet there will be times where there is no line at all.

Man I don't know all of those points can be applied to ACEN and the lines were easily 30+ minutes.
I'll concede it won't be as long as ACEN's line but every fucking weeaboo is going to queue up for Technika for some reason. Beet will hardly be touched and I will literally be the only person playing Drummania which is fine with me!

-Anime cons are filled with people that love Bemani... because it is from Japan.
2. Big costs for someone whose only interest is Bemani.
-Arcade was free at Acen.
3. People that attend Gen-Con but don't play Bemani will probably skip the event.
-Arcade wasn't a paid event at Acen.

Oh, I won't be playing at Gencon, I'm going to be seeing my sister down in Florida and apparently, there's a place called Boardwalk Bowl that has a Technika 3 machine. Uber stoked. I bet I can at least finish a full set Merk. You don't know my powers!!!

So, anyway, what're the fun songs to play on Technika? Skill level be damned.

Re: DJ MAX Technika
Oh dang, a DJ Max Technika is coming out for Vita.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ups3dx2 ... e=youtu.be
Gonna get that! Hopefully it comes out in the US, if not I'm sure I can import like I did the other portable ones. What better way to ruin my Vita screen than this?

Re: DJ MAX Technika
Got to play it finally. The main accomplishment I felt was beating Signalize NM. Almost pulled of Bamboo on Bamboo, but failed the final part cause I was getting too nervous and my fingers were shaking.

I wonder what happened to Magic DJ. (watch the first video on the following linked page)

Technika came out today on Vita, might pick it up. It's a limited release so it seems like it's really only found on the PSN store but it's kinda expensive.
