This news just came out earlier today courtesy of Zenius-I-Vanisher and I'm legitimately stunned. SVDX III has been announced for PC via the eAmusement Cloud and will be playable at JAEPO 2017.
Also, an official controller has also been confirmed for release and most likely will be pre-order only. I expect this to be similar to how IIDX Infinitas works in that it will have a starter set of like 40-50 songs and new songs are added monthly.

I got to watch the gameplay footage for the playable demo at JAEPO 2017 this past weekend and here's some quick info:
- 22 tracks playable. (Hopefully that was just for the demo as at the end of Season 2, SVDX III had over 800 tracks. While I can understand wanting to not have everything released at once if they go subscription model, it would be extremely disappointing if they launched with so few songs like they did with IIDX Infinitas.)
- The footage shows the game running in it's native vertical style like in the arcade.
- After seeing footage of the controller in use and while it looks to be mostly accurate, I may spring for an SVRE9 instead as Virgoo is out of stock on their controllers and I prefer full arcade accuracy over copal knobs.
