Flakk can play games now!! YAY

Post by FLAKK » Mon Jun 12, 2006 1:32 pm

I just ordered my new computer off of Newegg. I'll soon be able to play PC games again.

Antec Super Lanboy case
Antec True Power PSU
ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe AM2 Nvidia 590 motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 3800
1 gigabyte of Kingston Hyper-X DDR2 PC6400

And finally, the beast of a video card...
ASUS EN7950GX2 (I won't be just playing the games, I'll be living them) :D
Yea, I'm like Mother Teresa, except I pwn.

That's what I've heard. It will be on the top of the list of games to download this weekend.

GHEY....

I was putting it together and came to the conclusion the motherboard needs the 24-pin ATX connection AND the 4-pin P4 connection for power. However, my power supply only has the 24-pin plug. Tomorrow, I have to drive out to Compusa and get an adapter.

My gaming will have to wait another day :(

To tell the truth, I couldn't go a day without gaming, wether it's PIU, DDR, or even Maple Story... I can't go without at least an hour... -_-;;
I press UR, UL, DL, DR, UR.... it's a spin...

Well, it's not the P4 connection issue. I went back to the ASUS site and noticed it wants Corsair ram. GHEYx2. I ordered 2 gigs of it :D but it won't be here until Friday at best. Now, I have to put my Shuttle back together and hope for the ram to maybe come in tomorrow (highly doubt it will though). I did overnight shipping, but it was like 6pm when I placed the order.

FUCK YEA

It works now. This thing is a fucking beast. It needed the P4 connector AND the 24-pin plug. I had to pull some McGyver shit, but its running like a champ so far.

that's pretty much standard on all mobos these days

since this is about computers i'm gonna push this: oss/3d. coolest.plugin.ever. It has brainwave induction in it and it actually works. I use it every night for sleep now.

well i googled it an it looks like just another crappy addon dsp to put more bass in ya rap and more vocal in your cuntry. more cowbell also, if your so inclined. I seriously dont get why people dont just leave the source alone and let yourself hear it like the artist/sound engineer meant you to.
