Is there a line in emulation? If so I think I crossed it.

So we were playing Ikaruga last night and decided "Hey let's play that verticle mode because we never have!!" and turned my friend's 31" CRT on its side...that was a bitch...ANYWAYS! once we had it on its side we fired up some Ikaruga and got some full screen madness right then. real fun.
So I took it a step further and plugged the xbox in. Mame can be flipped so that the screen is verticle. Can we say Strikers 1945 in proper resolution? 19xx? Ikari Warriors? Pac man? oh god it's fucking heaven!!
So now we have a tv on its side because we're too lazy to set it back right. Watching tv in this fashion is so weird.

It's good for watching TV while lying on the couch and being too lazy to prop your head up.sam wrote:So now we have a tv on its side because we're too lazy to set it back right. Watching tv in this fashion is so weird.

yeah, we said the same thing...then we realized, it faces the wrong way when laying on the couch unless you flip around...but then you're really far from the tv so yeah, upside down/right-side around tv is odd.
truthfully i wish this was the real aspect ratio used for displays...it is so much easier on my eyes
