I can't think of anything I want to ask for for Christmas, only thing I can think of is MvC3 but that's not til February. So I'ma ask Meg to buy me one of these shirts, but I can't decide... what one?!

Image I don't play Sagat but I like the style of this one.

Image "Hype" with some random kanji

ImageImage Face on front (not the best looking, but kinda cool), symbol on back

Image Imageclassic simple symbol only, two slightly different versions off cafepress.... which looks cooler?

Think I'm leaning towards the last one... Just watched Norcal regionals, pretty good matches. Looking forward to hearing SSF4: Arcade Edition announcements hopefully soon.

Broken Tier has the best shirts. You can find some other Akuma stuff out there. He's a pretty popular dude.

If anyone has some photoshoop skillz, I'm looking for someone to design a fighting game related t-shirt for me. Need freelancers, have money.

Crazy deal. Buy one TE and get a second free. Let me know if anybody is interested, might be willing to go halfsies and pick up a PS3 stick just in case we play at tournies that use PS3 (like when I win EVO next year) or to play with my friend on his PS3. Or hell, buy another one, get a 2nd for free, build them into an arcade cab =D

Naptown Clash Saturday, Feb 19th at Tilt. Gonna hopefully go to this tourney! It'll likely only be Indiana players, but it should be a decent sized actual fighting game tourney.

Dudree changes. Seems like they made some of his links easier?

edit: A lot of big news on eventhubs mainpage actually. Capcom considered a new iteration of Street Fighter 3, Tokido breaks down Yun and Yang, Strider deconfirmed for MvC3, character changes I already posted, 10 more characters to be announced for MvC3.

now you can buy one get one free but mix and match systems. I still kinda want a PS3 one if I ever go to a PS3-only tourney and to play with other friends. But I also wanna use http://www.lizardlick.com/Toodles-ChimpSMD_p_584.html and dual mod my current one maybe.... except I am scared to solder or do anything technical. Apparently it's not hard and only requires light soldering but I'm still a baby. I hear Ho is good at it though! =P

Anyways, that is my entry to the "Riot talks to himself about SF news every few days thread"

Two Tournament FightSticks get!

However, they aren't for Super Street Juggler 4. They're being bought for THIS!

I'm honestly not sure a TE stick would be good for the last part of that schmup video... It seemed like a lot of accelerating and decelerating and I'm not sure the sticks really have very much speed sensing.... seems like it's either clicked forward or backwards, not much in between for slow movement.

Also, Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma were just announced, but who knows if they're playable or not.... guessing not.

I don't think I've ever played a shmup that uses an analog stick. You're either moving, or you're not.

Oh it just seemed like he was moving at different paces in that video towards the end when he was rotating in that circle pattern.

Some games let you hold down a button to move more slowly. Hell, Psyvariar let you wiggle to slow down. Do you wanna try?
