The beauty of the 24-hour buffet pass is that you can literally go to the buffet when the fuck you want, grab one item, get back to EVO, lose your match, and then head back to the buffet. I'm keeping an open mind about EVO though, I expect people to be a bit more social and less smelly than the people who play fighting games here in Indiana. If people are cool and fun then I'll spend a lot of time at the event but if everyone is a Marn then fuck that shit imma eat, drink, and play poker. I fully expect any of the EVO participants that step foot in the poker room to be absolutely awful at the game and I hope to separate them from their money.

I only expect good matches from Marvel and even then I don't expect anything grand until top 8. I'm not sure if they'll big screen high stakes money matches but it'd be awesome if they did.

Is there a schedule for EVO? I'm guessing you'll be surprised about the amount of time you'll actually be playing vidya games if all you're doing is Marvel. Actual Marvel tournament play probably won't take more than 5 hours out of the whole event until top 8 rolls around. The better chunk of the time will be spent doing casuals and an even bigger chunk will be spent watching.

We have 108 hours in Vegas, here is my breakdown:
- 24 hours sleeping
- 24 hours at EVO
- 12 hours playing poker
- 12 hours eating
- 10 hours walking around and seeing the sites
- 7 hours gambling with Chad/Kevin/You
- 5 hours drinking
- 5 hours clubbing
- 4 hours socializing/hooping/hollering with blokes from EVO
- 3 hours showering / club prepping / shooting the shit in the room
- 2 hours traveling about (in taxis, going to and from airport)

I will gladly take an over/under on any of these lines.

Yeah, I wouldn't be too heart broken if we didn't hit up the Emeril Lagassee sports bar but we absolutely need to hit up Burger Bar at the Mandalay Bay. I've never had a kobe beef burger, cooked medium rare, with pineapple, bacon, bleu cheese crumbs, fried egg, and BBQ sauce on it and God damn do I want to have one in Vegas. You cannot get that in Indiana.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not.

But yeah any place that serves a burger with a modicum of snootiness will have a kobe beef burger on the menu. The groupon place of today has one on the menu. MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY IT OUT WITH ME

I've had kobe beef at Eddie Merlot's here. It's pretty darn good.

Ok, so do you want to buy today's groupon then? You can use it to get Kobe beef at the Palazzo.

A Kobe steak I suppose would be the most authentic experience. I'm not that picky so I can be satisfied with a mere burger.

If we hit up the Burger Bar we should hit up the Minus 5 Ice Lounge since it's at the same resort.

It's $25 to get in with one complimentary drink. All other drinks are about $10.

I wouldn't mind boozing the hell up and then going on Friday evening after Riot busts out of EVO.

How about Merk pays for all the dumb alcoholy things for me with his fatty unemployment checks!

By the way, the kobe beef steak I had at Eddie Merlots..... probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. Expensive, but deelish.

Actually, crap on that. I've been trying to get people to hang outside with me all winter. I walked 3 miles on the Monon everyday in as low as 8 degree weather in however many inches of snow and ice, but only one person joined me. I'm not paying for what I can get at home for free half of the year.
