That's not how the game works heh. The only thing gems do really is to finish a building upgrade sooner, but when there are dozens of buildings and dozens of levels, it doesn't make or break anything. You're ranked against similar level people anyways, I might get owned by someone that has been playing for a year or so more than me, but money doesn't directly buy you any powerups.Merk wrote:Don't you feel shitty when someone crushes your little base because they gave Supercell $10?

You must construct additional pylons or spend 50 gems.

If you're into escape the room games, this one is a winner. Solid graphics and cool puzzles make this one stand out from the usual point and click adventures. You can pick up the first game for $1 and the sequel for $3.

This is a really long article, but it's pretty interesting. Hits on Kickstarter and calls out Molyneux on grand claims in the past, though the writer kind of abandons most senses of normal journalistic integrity. But it also references another side article that is pretty interesting when it comes to microtransactions. This seems like the skeeziest trick I've seen yet in nickle and diming people -

Yeah they talked about that on Super Best Friends (that one podcast I listen to) and Molyneux is one shitty man! All the weird French video game developers are bad people especially that David Cage guy, holy fuck.
