Did you enjoy Ikaruga Amp? What was the highest score you've ever gotten on it?

Depends on which version of Ikaruga you are referring to. On the Dreamcast version years ago I got to the second to last stage, but my scoring was not as good as I wish it would be as I never refined making great use of their scoring system. (The game uses a rule of 3 where you shoot three of the same color and if you don't do this the counter resets.) I played the 360 version a bit, but not too much. I can confirm though that there are some changes in this port which has resulted in some top players feeling it was not a good port. (http://www.destructoid.com/ikaruga-lol- ... 2083.phtml is one example of this.)

Regardless of this, I would recommend the Dreamcast/Gamecube version of the game as it is very good and even though it isn't a perfect port the 360 version is ok.
