Ah, that I did. However, you see, I was mistaken. It's next week that I won't be able to make it.

Thanks for that transaction.

And to anybody else in need of esoteric (or just older) computer parts: Ask - I may well have what you're looking for.

I also have a full size 486 AT tower I'd like to give away. 486/DX 33MHz, 5.25" floppy, 3.5" floppy, 120/250MB tape drive (and I'll include the three tapes I have for it), 250MB HDD, CD-ROM drive. Has a sound card, some sort of ATi graphics. I've also installed a 10Mbit network card. Made by Gateway 2000 back in the day. I even have all the manuals. If anybody has any use for it (even as a shell), let me know. It's hard to find these full size towers anymore.

I've also got a bunch of old 10Mbit networking gear (PCI and ISA NICs, hubs, etc.) that I wouldn't mind parting with for free if someone can use it.

If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

I see no reason it wouldn't. It's just a standard PS2 RO thin pad. $25?

That's fine. Let me know when you want to pick it up after this coming week. I'll be doing finals this week anyway. I'll be happy to meet you someplace local.

$25 for a used RO plain pad? That's pretty steep considering that their official site sells two of them and ITG 1 for 30...not trying to ruin a transaction, just trying to make sure everyone's well-informed of prices.

-Dan

EDIT: Nvm, just read the first post, apparently I was talking of a different, crappier pad.

It's not used. It's NEW IN BOX. This is also the old style.

By used, I mean bought, and played (your first post did say you played one song on it right?). I mean, a car lose like 30% of its value as soon as you drive it out of the lot after purchasing it or something like that.

Yeah, I played a trick song on it to make sure it works. It's still got the original folds on it. I don't think DDR pads depreciate in value nearly like cars do. Cars are something of an oddity in that regard, actually.

I do still have it. That's fine. If anyone else would like to make an offer in the meantime, go ahead, but otherwise it's Potter's.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure I've got enough 10Mbit ethernet gear to network about 10 PCs. Let me know if you're interested - it's free.
