I think it's Engrish for "Wrinkle" but I am probably wrong. Where is our resident translator, Likeablerodent, when you need him?

Re: IIDX 19: Lincle
I'm happy to see this game is still going strong. I'm dreading the day they announce IIDX: The Final. I guess people still line up to play this game though so that's pretty neat! I figured once the top-tier players became nigh impossible to catch up to that interest would die down.

Re: IIDX 19: Lincle
As much I hate feeling it, I really can't get psyched over a new Beatmanias since they stopped making console releases. I hate hearing songs I'll never ever get to play.

I'm going to have to agree with you on that one! With console IIDX in limbo it's hard to get excited this kind of stuff but hey, at least the series isn't dead.
You could always get an arcade cabinet! There's always BMS too, its the Stepmania for beet!

I do agree with ImuyumI on this one cause it was due to this feeling that I stopped playing regularly in January 2010.
Also, here's some info from the location test:
- Hard EX option is now available. (Apparently one miss makes you lose 18% health)
- Normal gameplay modes now have song previews. (Kind of surprising that this happened, but then again this was the only Bemani series to not have song previews.)
- A new song by Kobo. (Note: Made Trim and plenty of other awesome songs) Also, a song by REDALiCE (best known for his Touhou remixes) has been confirmed.

L.E.D. did Infinite Prayer (w/ Goro I thought). Unless there's another Infinite Prayer I haven't heard of yet. I agree that I do like Kobo's songs.Amp Divorax wrote:- A new song by Kobo. I'm curious about F by DJ Amuro.

Re: IIDX 19: Lincle
Anybody want to take the over/under on how long it'll take for the new OMES song to be AAA'd on Another?
Whatever it is, I'm taking the under.

Whoops, it was Goro and not Kobo. Sorry about that. The post has been corrected.ImuyumI wrote:L.E.D. did Infinite Prayer (w/ Goro I thought). I'll be a song called FU by Jun Wakita, DJ Mass Mad *Izm, & DJ Yoshitaka, with turntables & piano, w/ holds alongside the piano.Merk wrote:Anybody want to take the over/under on how long it'll take for the new OMES song to be AAA'd on Another?

Re: IIDX 19: Lincle
I just did a search to see why they chose "lincle".chocobojoe wrote:I think it's Engrish for "Wrinkle" but I am probably wrong. Where is our resident translator, Likeablerodent, when you need him?
It looks like it's a combination of "link" and "circle", which can be seen by the two linked circles in the banner.
This dude posits that the series may be going for an electricity theme.
From looking at the banner, the two circles look kinda like electron paths, and the background lines look sorta kinda circuit-boardy.

So in other words they are stealing notechart ideas from EZ2DJ now.ImuyumI wrote:I'll be a song called FU by Jun Wakita, DJ Mass Mad *Izm, & DJ Yoshitaka, with turntables & piano, w/ holds alongside the piano.Merk wrote:Anybody want to take the over/under on how long it'll take for the new OMES song to be AAA'd on Another?

Current rumors state that the forthcoming "2011 version" of this song and a "Electric" version will be appearing in Lincle. If this is true, then I may have to start playing again when I'm not getting busy getting my ass kicked by school.

Re: IIDX 19: Lincle
I went through the list of what I can find on youtube, and lincle has very little i'm interested in. I think Kors K stuff is mediocre too. Nothing jumps out as being awesome minus new Dirty Andoirds/LED's boss song/Any Jpopy songs. Anyone else investigate this?

Re: IIDX 19: Lincle
Nope, the only Lincle stuff I've looked at is that video of Dolce playing the OMES, Diavoldo or something. The charts are getting more and more stupid hard but that's par for the course in IIDX. I wonder if Konami gets frustrated when someone AAAs their boss chart within the first few days of release.
But yeah, I haven't heard any of the music from the game but Dirty Androids is pretty consistent so I'm sure they'll have some good songs.
