Re: Tricoro
I will probably never get to play this game but I hope the music is good, the charts are fun, and the game continues to make money and make people happy. It's kind of hard to believe that this game still continues to be popular and that they are already at #20.
Game subtitle is about par for the course.

Years ago you said you'd probably never be able to play DistorteD when it was first announced. I bet $10,000 you will get to play Tricorotops at some point.Merk wrote:I will probably never get to play this game but I hope the music is good, the charts are fun, and the game continues to make money and make people happy. Re: Tricoro
As a point of reference I have not played 19 and the only time I played 18 was in Vegas at Gemini. If it weren't for Brian I would never have played 17.

I played Happy Sky in Hawaii once.

Lets hope this doesn't end up as big of a mess as Lincle was. For the time being, I'm sticking with playing Cave shmups for a while.

Re: Tricoro
What was shitty about Lincle? I honestly don't know anything about it. I would think it's hard to mess up a game you've already done 18 times over.

Re: Tricoro
The soundtrack was terrible. Well, for the most part the first CD was. It just seemed like it was too anime-ish for my taste. It also gave us a song that was worse than Cloudy Music, which I didn't think was possible.

Re: Tricoro
Yeah the odd numbered mixes tend to have the more experimental and often shitty music and the even ones have the happy J-Core hardstyle stuff. Most mixes tend to have, for me, just 3 or so really good songs and then a bunch of mediocre stuff so if Lincle can pull that off then I'd call it a success. I have the Lincle soundtrack but I haven't bothered listening to it yet.
I mean really the only way you can fuck up a music game you've done 18 times over is to have shitty music in it.

Re: Tricoro
From what was mentioned on other forums, only half of the songs were actually done when it came time to release Lincle. Phase songs were downloaded through eAmuse and there are murmurs of many of the non-crossover songs being rushed out the door.

Re: Tricoro
I'm posting this having not yet listened to the song. I generally like garbage noise stuff, so my guess is I will find it audibly pleasing.
Here goes...
Ok, it wasn't good. I think we can all agree it did have a fine piece of anime booty though.
