We were doing admin approval for awhile when recaptcha v1 went dark. I was so looking forward to not having to do that anymore. But I guess I'll take one for the team.

literally just use the post i linked last page and password protect ucp.php with a text embedded saying "this is the password"

did this for 4+ years on a public phpbb forum and not one bot signup, the humans were even smart enough to figure out when a page has a password box and text saying "this is the password", to enter said password into box. novel, I know
