Hah, I just noticed those step counts don't add up to the same number, and they're definitely correct as they're pulled from screenshots. So yeah, see previous comments about stepcounts varying depending on how you play.

To be fair, that's Infinity which is only kinda-sorta Pump It Up.

Not that mainline is much saner...

So yea, overall kind of a hilarious song. Also, if you want to play on mainline while you wait to have your stuff back up (I presume that it isn't given you used infinity) just give me a call or email and come on over. (I figure it's the least I can do.)

I played some Pump last night. I failed Pumptris again. I want to find whoever rated that a 13 and smack some sense into him. Ugh.

Anyway, I decided to try and find a new song for this week instead. I came up with Overblow. Unlike Pumptris, this song represented almost everything I actually like about Pump. It's great streamy goodness and just challenging enough. And there are some fun turns in it that took me a few tries to get right but were really satisfying once I did.

I forget how many times I played the song. Maybe 3-4? In the end, I got the full combo and decided that would be good enough for the session. I'd be happy to play it again though. It was pretty fun. :)

Before I quit for the night, I decided to give Pumptris one more try. I passed...and that was good enough for me.

My pumptris 13 score was 1095/5/2/0/9 on Fiesta EX as I didn't try it again due to having to set up a future relocation. I will play Overblow tonight.

Overblow [Double 12]: 454/0/0/1/0, Combo: 297, Infinity accuracy: 99.72%, Infinity score: 1,196,700

I played it once and convinced myself I could FPC it but was not able to in 4 subsequent tries, so I'll take the one bad.

MonMotha do you have a Pump that's up and running at your place?

FPC'd on the first try in Fiesta EX. Honestly didn't expect that to happen.

It's a pretty fun chart. There's one place that's a little awkward, which is where I got the bad.

I am still anxiously awaiting an answer to my question of "Where does MonMotha play Pump, at his place?"

No, not yet, anyway. I've just been playing at Latitude for now. That's why these scores are from Infinity.

So yea, kinda forgot to ask what the next song should be. Also, we have been focusing on one chart, but if people want to focus on multiple then I won't mind as I know MonMotha is far better than me and Ho are.

I wouldn't mind picking a song and basically playing all available double charts that you feel like playing. Figure we'll all play the mid-range ones, and if you're up to it you can play and note your score for the higher rated charts on that song.
