I need to get my Pump on.
I'm going to try to get over there mid-afternoon sometime...maybe about 3. I hope to see some people, Pump lovers and doubters alike.

I'll be there around 3-3:15.
Oh, and yes, Pump as in Pump It Up.

A normality test:
+++ATH
If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

Whew!
I made it there around 3:20 and stayed for 30-45 minutes. MonMotha was also there at that time. I went on to do some shopping for with Lissa afterward and MonMotha went to another event, but we both went back around 8:30, met UberAvonDancer there and ended up closing the place at midnight.
There weren't a whole lot of other people playing. Plenty of people watching and plenty of people at X-Site in general, but very few bothered to try it. So that meant almost continuous play for the three of us. That was easily the longest I've continuously played (a dancing game) in quite some time...probably at least a year or two...and it was a blast! I've been to longer gatherings recently, but I generally only play 2-3 games while I'm there.

Oh I still love the game, new songs TOTALLY different spins, original hand plants that others had to later add its a greaaaat game.Ho wrote:Agreed. The timing windows seem much more forgiving than DDR. This may limit the challenge for a player such as yourself, but it doesn't limit the fun of the step patterns and rhythms themselves (if you enjoy them) which are quite a bit different when compared to DDR.
