We did upgrade our original DDR Extreme to ITG2 because the dedicated cabinets were no longer available at that time (due to the pending legal issues). We actually purchased the last one available but it went to our East side location.
When we ordered a replacement 8th mix we ended up getting the Namco junk version. (has a PS2 in the bottom and only 1 button on each pad for sensor)
We sent that back and got a replacement. The replacement had a bad CD Rom drive but that has been taken care of. The machines were moved apart to seperate areas of the game room so the sound will not be a issue when playing either game.
Matt still comes in from time to time and RJ has been coming in alot and I haven't had a single complaint about pads or about the machines in a long time. If you have questions ask me or one of them.

I also talked to a friend that worked there, and he said the machine is for sale.

That's $10 a week for 8 years.

I was there Tonight between 430pm-600pm dedicab is up and running and so is the old upgrade cab which the owner says he thinks he already has a buyer for. I like very very much. I especially love that the cake song comes preloaded (I will whore that out for months). We should get a meet-up setup for saturdays maybe?
