While fat is unhealthy (in amounts of more than your daily requirement), calories are what make you gain/lose weight. What people don't realize is that "low-fat" doesn't mean low-calorie, and therefore WON'T make you lose weight. Bottom line, to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you eat. Most people, just by functioning and doing their daily routines, burn ~2000 calories (that's why the %DV is calculated for 2000 calories). So, if you want to lose weight, worry more about your calorie intake than your fat intake (although fat does contain 9 calories per gram as opposed to 4/g for carbohydrates)(although fat is unhealthy if you eat too much of it).

I'm 6'1", 155lbs, eat ~3000cal a day (avoiding fast food), and I still seem to lose weight.

Which of the above are true?

Okay, I only have $5 in my wallet. I guess it would make more sense to drive to Rascal's for 75 cents worth of DDR, but they don't serve Quad Stackers there.
