Re: Main Event
If this is indeed the case and it has some good stuff a meetup would be pretty awesome.

Re: Main Event
Man, I soooo want to be optimistic about this news. I really hope that Latitude's crooked mismanagement was the only reason it failed. I'd hate to see this be another Block Party or X-Scape/Incredible Pizza situation where a venue changes hands only to fail again.
I mean, I guess Tilt is still going. So...here's hoping?

Re: Main Event
On Snagajob.com, the Main Event Indianapolis job postings are for 46250 so it's a safe guess it's replacing Latitude.
Too bad Main Event doesn't offer DDR A. I'll continue going to Illinois.

UPDATE 2016-08-22:
Main Event no longer lists an Indianapolis location on its website.
I was going to ask them if they had any interest in rolling out DDR A to their locations (since Konami seems to require a large batch order), but if Main Event Indianapolis is no longer a thing...

Re: Main Event
They must have done some market research and learned what a black hole Indy is for a place like that.

Re: Main Event
The Jacksonville one isn't listed either, so either they were put up too early or the deal fell through.
99.9999999% the latter though.

Re: Main Event
A bit off topic, but seeing that Taleo applicant tracking system makes me feel old. I don't miss having to work with those cursed things.

Re: Main Event
Seems like it's confirmed. Indy is listed as one of the "upcoming" locations.
The upcoming locations don't seem to be in any order, however the first one on that list is now open. This leads me to believe that Indy is the next one to open, although it should be open by mid-2017 according to the first article regardless.

Re: Main Event
According to ZIv, they tend to have Pump. The newest location has Infinity.
Not to mention the Indy location seems to be replacing Latitude 360, which had an Infinity cab in it. Assuming it wasn't sold off, it would probably be Main Event's now.
Maybe we'll end up getting a brand-new Prime 2 cab?

Re: Main Event
I hope it does have Pump. However, I don't see this being anything like Round 1 or anything like that happening in Indianapolis. (This was part of the reason for my recent IIDX and Pop'N acquisitions.)
