The areas in blue have a higher concentration of uneducated city dwellers and petty criminals that throw around racial slurs as if it were the 1970s. They demand that other people pay for their rent and health care rather than work an honest job. I'm not going to pretend I'm all that much better, but I have enough perspective to know when I'm acting like a hypocrite.

the only comment i'd like to make, is that metric is better than imperial. You know sooner or later, you will be adopting the metric system...

My personal opinion is that the imperial system was used because you could use common items to give reference to, such as foot, using one's foot. It seems like a very backwards way of doing things where as metric is specific for everythiung. Hell, there are even 2 imperial systems, british and US, which confuses us metric users when doing conversions.

Do they eat a lot of chicken wings in Australia?

In my opinion, Australians prefer boneless meats such as steaks, lamb chops and Chicken boobs.

Chicken wings, although popular, i wounldn't say we eat a lot of. Lamb and beef are our primary meats, especially our lamb cutlets.

We also have lots of pies and sausage rolls (minced meat in a pastry) and not many hot dog vendors. Come to think of it, only Wendy's (franchise) sells hotdogs and a few other specialy places...


Also, on the topic of censorship and patriotism, this site does give an insight to some key differences between the two nations.

If it's TL:DR, the basic summary is we practice patriotism in different ways due to our culture. I think we are a bit more easy going than the US.

An example they used was if someone wiped the AUS flag with their bum, we would find this hilarious or in the very least, not offensive, where as if you replaced the Aus flag with the US flag ... they may find them selves dead!

I also don't think you have much grounds discounting an entire political party as "uneducated religious zealots."
I realize America is far from not having these issues, but I don't understand why you're perpetuating stereotypes based on your own, apparently strong, biases.
