Uh Oh!

Looks like we're all going to die...

We'd better kill us some more arabs before they kill us.

Thank God for the Media. Without it, I never would have herd about The American Government approving "Project: Red-Nex"

For those of you who don't know "Red-Nex" is a military program used by the government to get the young and uneducated to go off and get themselves killed fighting on the far side the of world. They do this by using the media to tell these uneducated "Red-Nex" the following things about Arabs...

1. Thems don't like America.
2. They's don't believe in Jesus none.
3. Some is Queer.
4. They's don't like no country music.
5. They's the ones that killed Dale Earnheart.

I donno about them hating America, or Jesus, or Country Music... But Killing Dale Earnheart! Why, that's just going too far!

SIGN ME UP!

----------

Seriously though,

This report sounds like yet another online news source's attempt to get better media ratings by scaring people with supposed "Terrorist Threats" from vague sources. Making all the gullible people in the US go out and stock up on feed and buy plastic sheeting and duct tape.

Grubb... did you even read it? Or are you rambling (again :-p)? Your post seems more of an attack on soldiers than the article itself. Let's hope that's not the case. :?

The search for WMD's has been exhausted; but it's something we've all known about for awhile. Okay, we can't find them if they're there...
not really a groundbreaking article, at all, in all honesty.

Yeah, I have respect for the troops. Lots of respect, believe it or not. My previous post was to make a point that obviously got lost in your attempt to try and make an ass out of me.

Whatever man,

Yeah, I did read the article. It was more of the same crap I hear from hunderds of other news sources every day.

My attack wasn't on the troops, it was on the government and the media. But truthfully though, A lot of the troops we have over there are just stupid kids fresh out of high school without any care for other people's culture who've been given assult rifles and command over tanks.

Support our troops? Sure, I guess, why not? I'm just sick of people getting killed on both sides for stupid shit... a lot of which we could have prevented by having mature individuals in charge of various military units instead of kids with attitude problems and a gun.

First off, These weapons of mass distructions DON'T EXHIST! I don't care how many times the media uses "WMD" to scare people into buying newspapers.

Bush just sent those troops into Iraq for oil, and terrorism was his excuse. We shouldn't even be in Iraq. We should have been in Liberia to put an end to their civil war... BOTH SIDES of the war were litterally begging us to come in and stop them from killing each other, but we desided to fuck them over in favor of Iraqi oil.

People, namely Americans, need to understand that the media has been given a gift on September 11th, This gift being the ability to control people with constant fear. Constantly bringing up the word "Terrorist" is no different than bringing up "Global Warming" durring the late 90's, or bringing "Africanized Bees" durring the late 80's, or bringing up "Communist" durring the late 40's, or bringing up "Martians" after H.G. Well's "War of the Worlds" was broadcast on the radio, or the word "Witch" durring the Salem witch trials.

Do you not believe me about the media and the government both trying to control people with fear? Then what the Hell is with the "Color Alert" bullshit? All the government needs to do to get people's attention is to raise the "Color Alert" from yellow to orange. People will freak out and start stocking toilet paper, generators, food, ect. I can ganuntee without any doubt that we will never see the "Color Alert" drop to Green or Blue, and the only time it's going to go up to Red is after something big has happened.

I could go on and on for hours, but my point is that people need to quit thinking with their TVs and start thinking with their heads.

They didn't find them, because they aren't there. Yeah, they were trying to build them perhaps, but with outdated materials that they don't even know how to use. They're more of a danger to themselves than they are to us. We're there for oil, plain and simple. G.W. wanted to finish what his daddy started in the gulf war in the early 90's. They're an oil family, they want oil.
The media? I agree with Grubb. They're pulling our strings, swaying us back and forth on a bunch of bullshit. And look at the damn terri shiavo case. It's all a big political game, and people are playing right into it. Did people actually think that was something special? Sure it was sad, but go to any hospital, any nursing home, and you'll find the same thing. Why aren't they on the news? They're not politically convenient.
There's been terrorism for years, the only reason we're hearing so much about it now is because it's a hot issue here. It'll sell, and more importantly, it'll get kids to join the military for more of bush's war games for oil, money and power.
We're nothing but pawns to them. Why do you think no one in power gives a damn about jobs right now?
The military is always hiring.

Hiroshima / Nagasaki were newspaper scams as well? They don't really exhist?

Edit: I'm tempted to delete this, because I know you'll get all riled up about it. It's mostly just a pun on a misspelling.

To everyone : try not to get too worked up about things you can't do anything about. ;-)

I'm just going to say that I'm prouder serving in my nation's Army, rather than bussing tables and feeling like (explitive deleted). It's true that we do more by 8:00 than most people do all day...example, we ran 6 miles and then had a 165-soldier free-for-all fight (you throw a soldier down and he's out). Anyways, I'm risking my neck so you can have the rights to dicuss politics freely, so....discuss!

I don't think that was the best example you could have used ...

I think the best thing to do is blame the republicans. That's always fun.

Aye. Hope I'm not going to end up the only Republican defender on this board as every other board I'm a member of. -sigh-
Whatever, everyone's allowed to their opinion so no need. ^o^

Is they used Halo 2 to train the new troops, that'd be awesome. I'd be terrified for my dad though . . . he sucks at fighter games and he'd get his ass kicked by the new recruits something fierce. <_<

Don't worry. I ally myself with the Republicans. I'm more of a conservative, but independents can't get anywhere in our political system.

Next year will be fun. College [liberal place] + Washington, D.C. [East Coast = very liberal] = Überliberal. Wonderful. Four-year guilt trip! ^_^;
