DDR vs. ITG vs. PUI

Post by pridemore_cole »

Simple question... which one do you think is better? Only one vote per person and at the end ill tally them up and if its not DDR ill blow you all up with the leftover 4th of July Popper Snaper things.
My vote; DDR

First off, with something like this, you should only vote if you've played all of them.

I think ITG is the best, then PIU, then DDR.

But ITG is essentially DDR with new songs/steps/SMmods/hands/mines.
I really love CS:GO's 64 tick servers.

It's horribly difficult to compare PIU to DDR; the game mechanics are completely different.

However, for how much fun I have doing each, PIU gives me more fun in the form of spins, doubles for one credit, and really catchy songs.

ITG was made for those bored with DDR's hardest songs, because unless you play on Hard or Expert (or with those trippy mods like Dizzy), it's actually kind of boring.

Basically: PIU>DDR>ITG (though I REALLY like the songs on ITG)

Uhh, you know you can make polls?

ITG because only people who suck at DDR dislike it. PIU coming in at a close second (I can't STAND the interface). DDR shouldn't even be an option anymore. It's like comparing pagers to cell phones.

Pump. I've played all three, ITG and Pump are about equally as hard as one another(If you don't agree, play some ??'s on pump, or some Nightmare steps) Really, double on pump is the most challenging thing i've EVER played on a dancing game. Plus i like the songs more.

I'd certainly say DDR, just because of the simple fact...thats what I started on, and those are the songs we all know and love. :)

I started gaming on an Atari 2600, but you won't see me hauling it out of the closet all that often. I appreciate its place in history, and more directly, its place in my history. But it's history...and that alone does not guarantee its perpetual status as "best."

But alas, this whole topic is based on personal preference and opinion anyway.

Actualy, I hate most of the songs on DDR. I'm not a J-Pop fan. There were a couple "ok" songs, but nothing that I would ever want to listen to outside of the game.

OMFG thank you mexy. i thought I was the only one in this group that hated the little happy go round jpop songs that made me want to vomit. Hell the songs are half the reason I quit ddr and started playing itg2. That and its 5 minutes away from me.

i will always be a ddr fan it was the first i played, although i enjoy PIU at times, and i do like ITG. Nothing can beat all the good times i had playing DDR.
if it doesnt matter who wins or loses then why do they keep score
