It's easy to just hit the arrows in para para mode. What's hard is actually matching up the routine with what you're supposed to do (which is fortunately displayed by an on-screen character on 2nd mix). If you just want to hit arrows, put it on Freestyle mode and do hard difficulty. I never thought para para paradise would need high speed, but it does (and fortunately, it has such a mode). It's quite possible to fail some of those freestyles - there are a LOT of arrows!Riot wrote:It's impossible to be bad at Para Para Paradise. Of course you may be able to find someone with the PS2 version...although my experience has been that the home version sensors tend to be more frustrating than fun. Though you could still learn the routines that way.

Yeah, I get that. You are correct that PPP is not going to hold the interest of a technical player for very long. But my point was that the game itself is not targeted at such players--nor this culture, for that matter.

This is the most posting I've done in the ITG forum because alas, I'm not a fan of ITG.
As I am predominantly a freestyle player, ITG doesn't hold much of interest for me. I understand why some people like the challenge of ITG, but I've never really been capable nor all that excited about that style of play. As I continue to get more and more ancient, attempting that kind of stuff just hurts me more and more. I just want to have some fun with these games, and the easier stuff in ITG just seems kind of boring to me.
In addition, the music in ITG just doesn't really fit my preference either. It's not that I hate it; it just doesn't really move me...which takes me back to my first point of it not being particularly freestyle-friendly--at least not for me.
