Mr Gatti's in Bedford has (and had for a while I believe) a DDR 3rd Mix Korean V.2
Anyways I plan on heading down there next Saturday (Feb. 2nd) to play some happy korean song madness. Who's with me, sub par pizza and good ddr?

No. The Mr. Gatti's machine has been there longer than that. The former LaserFlash machine is in Lafayette, IIRC.
A normality test:

If you are no longer connected to the internet, you need to apply more wax to your modem: it'll make it go faster.
If you find this funny, you're a nerd.
If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

I might tag along. For those who are interested, the machine is still in reasonably good condition (at least as of a few months ago), has 5 songs for 50 cents, and has been moved towards the rear of the arcade with the volume at a reasonable level. Not bad.

So I went there with Chad and the KDR crew last night. I liked the volume level, just have 2 rants about this old machine. The colored plastic that normally is infront of the lamps on the marquee are gone, so when those come on, you get an eye full of blinding white light. The monitor is REALLY dim, even after covering the lamps I could BARELY see the arrows scrolling up.

He's right. The lights issue was a quick fix, a little cover from our jackets did the job nicely. The monitor is dim, but I was still able to play as normal. Good news is that the volume wasn't terrible, and pad misses weren't too common. I was actually able to full combo a bunch of songs. I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

Actually, I think the lights on the Korean machines were a little different. I seem to recall them being less colored--or perhaps not at all. Either way, be careful about what you put on them. They tend to get a little hot.
