Well guys it went okay. It was a lot more tech oriented than I thought it was going to be so I was a little unprepared. They asked me how the internet worked (what happens when someone types in http://www.cnn.com on a browser) and I kinda fudged the answer and had to correct myself. They also talked a lot about my previous job on campus, about 70% of the interview was about my time with UITS.

I think I did impress them somewhat with my experience with MySQL and VMWare though so it wasn't all terrible. I was taken a bit aback when they didn't ask if I had any questions for them, I don't know if that's a sign that they just wanted me to GTFO or if they just don't do interviewee questions. But hey, at the end of the interview they told me I had a good shot to get a second interview with their COO so there is some promise.

No not yet, I'm guessing I'm not what they were looking for. Oh well, I'm just kinda throwing my resume out there on the internet and hope someone bites.

As for the story, I'm contemplating as to where I want to take it next and how I want to present it. Listing off stuff is too boring but writing a huge LJ post would make me look foolish, there's gotta be something in the middle!

I mean honestly, is anyone really interested in how I started playing a video game? The most interesting stuff - how I first started playing - has already been said for the most part.
